Worms & Grasshoppers for Lunch

The Eastern Bluebird pair that has built their nest in the birch-look nest box on our south fence are clearly feeding chicks. Here are some photos of the female and the male as they tend to their hungry brood.

The female offering lunch.
The female arrives with a long worm.
The male entering the nest box to feed his chicks.
While I tend to see the female arriving with food more often, the male participates in feeding his hungry brood.
The female arrives with a new snack as the male flies off in search of the next course. Perhaps crickets are on the menu.
