I had my camera aimed at a Bluebird that I had spotted in the Ponderosa Pine tree. Snap. Snap. Snap. The shutter opened and closed repeatedly to capture any interesting action, even though the bird sat relatively still.
I didn’t see the Blue Jay in the same tree until I sat down to look at the images. And, to be very honest (and forthcoming about my lack of attention to detail or perhaps too much attention to a singular detail) I failed to notice the larger bird until I questioned the Bluebird’s strange behavior – which I have determined was a wing-wave send off to the Jay.
