Inspired by Dogs & Nature
It was a lovely, sunny day on November 8, and I took advantage of that natural light to film the birds that had found our new feeding station. It’s located well away from the house, with the hopes that the more “flighty” species might visit for a snack. But, of course the “regulars” showed up, first. They are not put off by the presence of human-made materials or my golf cart, for example.
The House Finches were quite numerous – more so than I would have thought. But, I was happy to see them. Here are some shots that I was able to capture of these pretty little birds. The males sport the red markings while their mates simply wear the drab, but still interesting brown streaked colors.
