Puppies & CHICKEN Wings

This post is mostly designed for the folks who will be coming to pick up their new puppies in under two weeks. The puppies are now 6.5 weeks old. They are eating solid foods, their mama has begun to wean them, and we’ve introduced them to real meat. They are, after all, little carnivores. We feed our own dogs raw meat every day. For people who plan to feed their puppies a raw meat (a little or a lot), this practice gets the puppies started on what Mother Nature designed as their normal diet.

We gave them their first exposure to the chicken wings four or five days ago. They immediately took to it, but they chewed on them more than consumed a lot of meat. Now, they are getting better at actually getting the meat off the bones. But, it’s a work in progress. We still feed them dry kibble mixed with an all-meat canned product.

These videos show the puppies eating their raw meat diet, but they also contain fun play sessions, and interactions with me. They are very loving and kind little souls.

Hopefully, that selection of videos will provide the new puppy buyers their “fix” before they come here to get their new, fluffy, lovable, endearing family members. And, for everyone else who have viewed them, I hope it put a smile on your face and a warm & fuzzy feeling in your heart.
