As part of the new feeder station that we (aka my husband, Robert) built on my office patio, there’s an old tree trunk that we drilled holes into where suet could be stuffed.
As soon as we put it up in place, birds came to check out the new diner option. The great thing about setting up the suet stump near my office patio, is that I can remain partially indoors and shoot photos out the open patio door. That no only produces a bit of a blind so the birds are not affected by my position, but also puts me in closer proximity. With overcast skies for the past many days, the close I am the better the shots, even without sunshine.
Here I share with you some of the pictures of the Carolina Wren.
